Why do we name storms?
Sometimes when I sit around at the best Earls Court escorts at charlotteaction.org I end up thinking about all sorts of things. This week I have been thinking about this new crazy habit of ours of naming storms. Why do we name storms? The idea seems to have come from America and I am not sure that we should adopt all of their ideas. Interestingly enough a lot of these storms do come in from America but we do not use the same name here in the UK as they did in America. It is all rather confusing and I keep wondering why.
We are not the only country in the world which has started to name storms. One of the girls that I work with at Earls Court escorts is from the Philippines and she says that people in her country has started to name storms as well. It really makes you wonder what the point is she says. When she lived back in the Philippines she saw some really bad storms, and she says that a lot of our storms here in the UK are just like bad winds. I would tend to agree with her, I have seen some horrid photos from the Philippines.
Another gorgeous blonde girl here at Earls Court escorts is from Poland, and she says that they get really bad snow storms in her country. When she was a little girl it was not that unusual for her to end up getting snowed in, and she says that this happens a lot still. Do they name the snowstorms? No, for some reason the Polish people do not name their snowstorms, so perhaps this is after all a habit that started of in America and the rest of us just followed suit. It is strange how we come up with these crazy ideas.
Who names the storms anyway? Does the weather service have a special person who sits around to name storms? A couple of the girls and I at Earls court escorts sat around the other night with a bottle of wine and name storms. I know it is a bit of an odd thing to do but why not. If they can do it, so can we. To be honest, we came up with some really wacky names that sounded a lot more fun than any of the other names that we have heard. I think that it would be a lot more fun if we had interesting names.
Some of the girls at Earls Court escorts think that the weather service should just report that a storm is coming in, and not give it a name. What is the point anyway? After a few days we have all forgotten the name of the storm and we have cleared up any damage. It is funny the kind of stuff we human beings put effort into. I certainly would not waste my time in naming storms. Perhaps one day in the future, somebody will publish a book with different names of storms.
